LG_Optimus_exceed_2The LG L70 handset makes its way to Verizon known as the Exceed 2. LG has steadily been pumping out some rather excellent smart phones for ages now and the L70 is no different. While the device is not a top of the line flagship smart phone it is however a well connected, easy to use handset will enough power to keep any end user happy and in touch. The L70 was recently launched with MetroPCS while its slightly upgraded sibling the L90 made its way to T-Mobile. Verizon now has a variation of the L70 however and it will from this day forth be known as the Optimus Exceed 2!

Late Friday evening Verizon took to the presses and announced the Optimus Exceed 2. The original Exceed was known by a few names including the Lucid 4G, the LG Cayman and most simply the LG VS840. The Exceed 2 starts with a  4.5 inch 400×800 touch screen panel that offers up 199 pixels per inch and is built into the devices 10mm thin housing. The phone gets its go from Android version 4.4.2 and is kept powered by an all day 2100 mAh battery. Internally this new device comes with a Qualcomm made Snapdragon 200 system chip that uses a dual core 1.2 GHz processor and gets along with 4 GB of built in storage and expandable micro SD memory. Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-fi and micro USB connectivity round out the devices spec sheet. While the Optimus Exceed 2 is mostly no different from the L70 its name sake and bandwidth abilities will forever be big red!
